We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • Some forms are missing descriptive labels
  • Some pages are missing headings or headings have been skipped

Specifically

  • The close button in the cookie banner cannot be accessed using the keyboard This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.1.1 (keyboard).
  • There is no visible focus on the magnifying glass icon in the search bar. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.7 (focus visible).

We acknowledge the existence of these concerns and are proactively engaged in efforts to ensure their compliance.

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. Likewise, pre-recorded audio and video published before 23 September 2020 is also exempt.

We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations. The same applies to maps.
