The Scottish Fiscal Commission will be publishing an additional report on “Mitigating the two-child limit and the Scottish budget”. The report will be published at 9:30 AM on Tuesday 7 January 2025. It will include a discussion of the costs of the Scottish Government’s announcement to mitigate the UK-wide Universal Credit two-child limit from 2026-27 and of the impact on the wider Scottish budget.
